FSTN Technology
FSTN is a refinement of the STN technology, where a compensating film is applied to the display to improve the optical performance. This film layer compensates for some of the optical limitations of the twisted nematic liquid crystals, especially in terms of contrast and viewing angles.
The compensating film helps enhance the brightness and reduce color distortion, resulting in a more readable display, particularly in low-light environments.
In FSTN LCDs, the liquid crystals are still twisted, but the addition of the film layer improves how the liquid crystals interact with light, resulting in a clearer and sharper display.

2. This LCD is just what we want, but it is big size, do you have any smaller size? And the display content need to be changed a little.
Answer: For segment type LCD modules, modifying outline size or display content requires a new LCD glass module with new tooling.
3. This LCD display is HTN type, but I want STN type, can you make?
Answer: Yes, we can modify the display type according to your request.
4. I want to customize a new LCD module. Can you do?
Answer: Yes, we can. Please send your drawing. If unavailable, provide outline size, display information (glass thickness, polarizer, display type, connector mode, storage/operating temperature, supply voltage, viewing direction, drive condition).
5. What is lead time for tooling?
Answer: Typically 15-25 days after drawing confirmation and tooling payment. Exact time will be confirmed after drawing approval.
